I am Sandra Richard Saging, the founder of Seri Florist. I received my Professional Floral Design training from the Dato' Lim Bian Yam Malaysian School of Flower Arrangement in Penang, under the guidance of Mr. Clement Low in 2017. I also attended Hands-On Flower Arrangement courses provided by INSKEN MITI in 2009. I have been captivated by the art of floral arrangements since childhood. During my teenage years, I would assist at the church, always marveling at the beautiful flower arrangements adorning the church altar, crafted by the flower ladies or aunties. While maintaining a managerial career at one of the corporate firms in Bintulu, I established Seri Florist in 2017.

Who is Seri?

Seri is the name of my grandmother. When I needed to register a business, I considered several potential names for the shop. I conducted a survey and asked my friends and others to provide their input, and it was determined that 'Seri' was the preferred choice. Seri Florist was officially established in 2017, and the business has continued to grow since then.

About Seri Florist?

We are a retail florist that provides fresh and artificial flowers to customers in Miri, Sarawak. Our flowers are sourced from local growers in the Cameron Highlands region of Pahang, as well as imported from various international locations like Kenya, India, China, and Europe.

We offer floral arrangements at various price points. Our services include creating customized floral pieces for all types of special events and occasions, such as weddings, anniversaries, graduations, business openings, birthdays, fruit baskets, and sympathy flowers for funerals.

We define our own limits. We do not aspire to be all things to all people, as that is simply not feasible. We also recognize that we cannot make everyone into our customers. It is essential that we identify who our customers are and then adapt our business to cater to their floral requirements.
